Realm record · The Echo of Realms

A world older than most of its own memories.

Elyndorath is over a billion years old. Its name has changed across ages, its continents are immense, and its scale is intentionally beyond Earthlike familiarity. The current foundation uses a working diameter of roughly 150,000–250,000 miles.

It is the fifth planet from a star much larger than Sol. Continents, oceans, living storms, ruins, deep civilizations, floating lands, and entire histories can remain remote enough to become myth to one another.

Sky record · Three unequal lights

Most nights do not show you the whole sky.

The moons are not a decorative trio. Their distance, rhythm, rarity, and alignments shape omens, stories, magic, and the calendar of awe.

Far

The far moon

Largest and farthest. Its traditions gather around fate and memory.

Middle

The middle moon

Bound in tradition to kingdoms, tides, seasons, and oaths.

Near

The near moon

Smallest, closest, and fastest. Dreams, spirits, and omens collect around it.

Once every five lifetimes

The Triune Ascendance

Perfect alignment strengthens magic, weakens ancient seals, sharpens prophecy, stirs monsters, clarifies divine dreams, and may let the dead be heard. Seeing all three moons at once is already once-in-a-lifetime rare; perfect alignment is rarer still.

Three lights do not promise three answers.

Foundation term · Working canon

Aetherion is alive enough to be feared.

Aetherion is the current working name for Elyndorath’s raw living magic. The name is still a foundation term, not permission to invent a closed spell taxonomy before the system is fixed.

Living magicAetherion

It can support the impossible scale of the setting—from suspended lands to ancient mechanisms—but its final laws remain a deliberate area for canon development.

Vertical geography · Working foundation names

The map continues above you and beneath you.

Above

The Skyborne Realms

The working collective name for floating islands, skylands, and ancient aerial ruins. Some are held aloft by Aetherion; others may be remnants of vanished civilizations. Their contents and access are not uniform.

Below

The Umbral Deep

A planet-spanning second world beneath Elyndorath: nations and roads, fungal forests, black rivers, crystal fields, dead cities, seas, molten kingdoms, blind gods, distinct peoples, trade, war, religion, law, culture, and memory.

Possible local features

Chainfall Descent · Harrowmere Plain · Veyrwatch Hold · Ashroad · Broken Lantern Shrine

These local feature names remain working material rather than being promoted here as immovable canon.

Confirmed pantheon

The Pale Concord

The name and its place in Elyndorath are established. Its membership, divine domains, theology, history, and full powers are not exposed as settled facts yet.

Some pantheons are clearer in silhouette than in scripture.

First major saga · Current foundation

A Tale of the Tower

The Tower is central, symbolic, and terrible; its final identity and final name remain deliberately unsettled. “Tower of Mourning Glass” is the best current working name, not a locked substitute for future canon.

Known figure

Shora

A girl found hidden in a cabinet beside her father’s corpse, with a future intended to carry her toward a powerful paladin or oathbound-champion role.
