Vastus Wars archive · Cosmology
Begin before time with Vastara. Follow the First Flare into the Twin Sisters, the great currents, the Laws beneath reality, and the powers that take form among the first stars.
The beginning · Before creation
Vastus Wars begins before there is a universe. There is no time, no space, no distance, and no field of stars waiting in darkness. There is only Vastara: the state before a universe exists.
Then comes the First Flare. It is the creation of the universe itself: the first event and the moment in which space, time, light, matter, distance, and history become possible.
After the Flare, the Twin Sisters come into existence. The Twelve Zodiacs arise beside them, and the newborn stars slowly give those ancient patterns visible form.
Cosmic order · Twin necessities
Aratheia and Nytheris come into existence after the First Flare. Beside them move the Auric Flow and Nyxian Torrent: two great currents tied to preservation and necessary ending.
Aratheia is one of the Twin Sisters. She is tied to creation, healing, growth, preservation, sacrifice, and sacred light. Her mercy protects life, but protection can carry a heavy cost.
Nytheris is the other Twin Sister. She is tied to endings, severing bonds, silence, release, and the Nyxian Torrent. Her role is not simple evil; some things must be allowed to end.
The Auric Flow is a current that runs through reality and favors creation, life, repair, renewal, and preservation. It helps things begin and helps living systems endure.
The Nyxian Torrent is a current of breakdown, decay, release, and ending. It helps worn-out forms come apart instead of forcing them to last forever.
Cosmic order · The Twelve Zodiacs
The Twelve Zodiacs arise beside the Twin Sisters after the First Flare. They are ancient cosmic patterns, far older than the mortal cultures that later name constellations after them.

Chronology · From Vastara to the present age
Vastara stands before creation. The First Flare creates the universe; the Twin Sisters and Twelve Zodiacs follow, and the great structures of reality take their places beneath the first stars.
Before time · creation · first stars · cosmic order
Vastara is what exists before the universe. There is no time, space, distance, light, or darkness yet. It is not empty space; space itself does not exist.
The First Flare is the birth of the universe. Space, time, matter, light, distance, and history all begin with this first event.
After the First Flare, Aratheia and Nytheris come into existence. The Twelve Zodiacs arise beside them as ancient cosmic patterns that help give the young universe order and direction.
As the first stars form, the Twelve Zodiacs become visible as great patterns among them. Each Zodiac is paired with one Prime Cosmic Element that carries the same cosmic idea in a different form.
Two great currents move through creation. The Auric Flow supports making, life, and preservation. The Nyxian Torrent breaks down what must end. Neither current is a goddess or a Prime Element.
The Five Prime Laws are rules built into reality. The Seven Aeonics are living cosmic powers whose offices cover Time, Thought, Energy, Gravity, Memory, Death, and Birth.
Each of the Twelve Prime Elements is paired with one Zodiac. The Zodiac is the cosmic pattern; the Prime Element is the force that gives that pattern a real form within creation.
Great alliances · successor powers · the rise of modern factions
The Great Alliance does not fall in one battle. Smaller crises pile up: treaties are enforced unevenly, allies argue over cost, trade splits, and leaders stop solving shared problems. Routes and infrastructure become weapons of pressure.
After the Great Alliance breaks apart, many smaller governments take its place. Defensive leagues, trade republics, frontier states, archive powers, and new constitutional governments compete to survive.
The Echo-Minds emerge during the Successor Realignments as the second synthetic intelligent lineage. They are not Valekari and are not the property or creation of one government.
Governments begin rebuilding after the failures of the Great Alliance. New laws are written to survive leadership changes, political disagreement, new technology, and the recognition of synthetic people.
The Everflow Dominion grows from the Constitutional Renaissance. It is Human-founded, open to citizens from many lineages, and built around a constitution and limited government rather than a restored old empire.
The Ikarion Guard forms to keep civilization connected and alive. It protects routes, convoys, refugees, fortified corridors, relay stations, archives, and sworn duties. Its founding purpose is protection, not conquest.
The Silent Nexus grows from communities that choose to link their governments, archives, engineers, organic peoples, Echo-Minds, and Valekari without handing everything to one central ruler.
Everflow, Ikarion, and the Silent Nexus become the Three Pillars. They cooperate when collapse threatens everyone, but they remain separate powers with different ideas about how civilization should be protected and ruled.
New political, economic, cultural, and technological movements challenge the Three Pillars. At first the fight is mostly over ideas: who should rule, who should pay, what history means, and what the future should preserve.
Political rivalry hardens into large regional blocs. Powers begin coordinating armies, trade, routes, industry, and influence. They compete constantly while the fear of a wider war keeps an uneasy peace.
Cosmic order · Conditions beneath reality
They are not commandments written by a ruler. They are rules built into reality itself, and even great powers must live with their consequences.
Actions leave paths behind them. Power, violence, promises, exile, and even memory can send consequences back toward the one who caused them.
Power always puts a cost somewhere. Creation, travel, healing, resurrection, transformation, and destruction cannot be made truly free.
Reality gives added weight to what is truly witnessed. An oath, death, miracle, or crime seen and remembered is harder to erase from history.
A bond can be cut, but the loss still leaves a mark. Broken ties can become wounds, borders, taboos, relics, or curses.
True beginnings carry special power. The First Flame governs creation, sacred beginnings, first causes, and the ancient authority of light to declare that something now exists.
A law only matters when someone has to live beneath it.
Cosmic order · Sevenfold Aeonic powers
The Seven Aeonics are living cosmic powers. Each carries one great office—Time, Thought, Energy, Gravity, Memory, Death, or Birth—and can act with identity and will.
Continuity / Time
Vorr-Kaeel carries Time and Continuity: order between moments, endurance through change, and the fact that one moment can lead into the next.
Thought
Syraphene carries Thought: awareness, intention, insight, reason, and the inner structures that allow a mind to know and choose.
Energy
Azyr-Nimeth carries Energy and Power, from the force inside stars to the energy used by living things, machines, and cosmic events.
Gravity
Draveth Sol carries Gravity: the force that binds worlds, stars, systems, and greater structures together across immense distance.
Memory
Elyx carries Memory: remembrance, testimony, identity, archives, and the many ways the past survives inside the present.
Death
Xhal-Veorth carries Death as a cosmic office: the boundary every mortal life must eventually meet.
Birth
Myrrhaleon carries Birth: emergence, first breath, and the moment a new life begins its own history.
Cosmic order · Prime Cosmic Elements
A Prime Element can appear as matter, energy, residue, a field, a pattern, or a process. It is more than an ordinary chemical substance.
The Prime Element of making and first ignition. It appears in sacred creation, renewal, and the power to bring something new into existence.
The Prime Element of unmaking. It breaks down form, structure, name, or purpose and is not the same thing as ordinary ash.
The Prime Element of stability. It helps things hold their place against drift, collapse, exile, distortion, and forced movement.
The Prime Element of time. It is tied to age, sequence, delay, and the traces that passing time leaves behind.
The Prime Element of memory. It can hold remembrance, identity, history, and echoes left by people or events.
The Prime Element of final endings. It is tied to limits, sealed outcomes, judgment, and consequences that cannot simply be undone.
The Prime Element of birth and growth. It is tied to new life, origin, bloodline, germination, and the first push toward living form.
The Prime Element of thought. It is tied to awareness, sudden insight, mental force, communication, and flashes of understanding.
The Prime Element of stellar vitality: the living force carried by stars and some star-born beings.
The Prime Element of balance and answer. Force meets force, gifts create obligations, and what is given may call for something in return.
The Prime Element of hidden truth and revelation. It is tied to what lies beyond ordinary sight and to the moment the unseen becomes known.
The Prime Element of distance and connection. It links far places beneath ordinary space and helps make ancient gates and the Auric Rail possible.
