Auric Rail
The great light-route network of the known Vastus. Main routes are drawn thick; smaller Lightlines and Star-Rails branch into inhabited systems.

Follow inhabited worlds, fortress chains, sentry stations, main Auric routes, smaller Luminarch Veins, hidden paths, abandoned roads, Great Beast ranges, war zones, dead zones, cosmic weather, and dangerous unknowns. In the Vastus, the shortest line on a map is not always the easiest journey.
This map shows relationships, not true distance or scale. The Auric Rail, Gravitic Wind, and Veil passage can make a farther place easier to reach than a nearer one. Thick gold lines show major routes; they are not drawn to physical width. Secret Paths are intentionally incomplete. When a location or moving threat is not known exactly, the Atlas says so.
Known Vastus · Archive Projection
Worlds, defenses, old roads, hidden paths, and dangerous regions are placed by their known connections. Unknown locations remain unplaced instead of being guessed.

Six kinds of routes change what “near,” “reachable,” “hidden,” “abandoned,” and “safe” mean. The lines show connections, not exact physical distance.

Open record →Ancient texts call old luminous paths Luminarch Veins. The Atlas uses “leyline” as a simple name for thin, old, or lesser routes in the same travel tradition—not a second unrelated magic network.
Open record →Hidden routes that appear only through the right patterns, timing, witness marks, or rare travel conditions. Their Atlas lines are intentionally incomplete.
Open record →Old routes whose anchors failed, wars cut them apart, civilizations vanished, or danger made travel no longer worth the risk. Some are dead; others simply stopped answering.
Open record →A natural pattern of moving gravity that changes ship movement, route planning, storms, battles, and the practical value of territory.
Open record →Hidden travel through unstable routes where time, direction, and normal instruments may behave in unexpected ways.

These names are real parts of the public record, but there is not enough evidence to place them at one exact point. The Atlas leaves that uncertainty visible instead of guessing.
The Silent Nexus uses this name, but public records do not prove that it is one headquarters, one machine, or one central command point.
