Starborne tells you how far the Beast can reach.
The nine recognized orders answer a different question. This class tells you the Beast's scale. Its order tells you what kind of Great Beast it is.
How to read the class
Scale tells you reach, not species.
A Starborne can be large enough to rival the stellar environments through which ships travel. The space between worlds is part of its habitat, not an empty gap it must somehow cross.
What contact changes
When a Starborne changes course, trade routes, religion, war plans, and entire skies can change with it.
Class and order answer different questions.
Class answers “how far can it reach?” Order answers “what kind of Beast is it?” The Codex keeps both labels so size never has to stand in for identity.
